The Rules About Canada Visa and Requirements

People living in Australia and planning to visit Canada can do so without a tourist visa if they satisfy the requirements of Canadian Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA). eTA is a digital visa waiver that makes it easy for Australians and other eligible travellers to visit the country. It allows an Australian to stay up to 180 days on each trip. Otherwise, they must apply Canada visa.

Nevertheless, the final decision on how long a person can stay depends on the Border Service Officer at the port of entry, as they mark a date when the applicant must leave (for example- three weeks or 45 days) from the day they land in the country.

-To join a long-term study course

-To conduct other activities not concerned with tourism, leisure, or business.

The Canada visa online form means that travellers can apply from anywhere, whether office or residence, at their convenience without the need of a personal interview at the embassy for either the eTA, tourist or business visa. Travellers need an internet enabled device and can apply using their smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer.

Applicants must visit the official website and register giving their full name and a valid email address. Download the Canada visa application form and fill in all the columns without missing out any question.

The applicants should submit a few documents as mentioned below.

The visa application will have questions like applicant's full name, passport number, validity, their entire postal address, an active email ID, professional details, the type of visa they are applying for, reason for travel, marital status and some health and security questions. For eligibility of a visa the applicant must 

-have a valid passport with few blank pages

-not have any criminal or fraud convictions

-must have enough money for travel and on return to Australia

-strong ties to demonstrate that they will return to their country such as job, property or family ties in home country

-have sound health unless going for medical treatment. Show complete details of the doctor's report. 

-not intend to work or study unless authorised to do so

-proof of how the applicant will support themselves during their stay in Canada.
